Around Tendo city, many farmers plant the cherry.

And this year, it is very fine this Spring.

The Cooporation for farmers in Tendo city gather people not only in Yamagata Prefecture

but also in Miyagi Prefecture

next to Yamagata Prefecture.

Mt.Omoshiro lies between Tendo city, Yamagata city and Sendai city.

opening event for climber

. We can climb about

2 hours

to the top of Mt.Omoshiro from "Tendo Kougen"(Tendo hights), which has camp site and ski field.

In this season, many climber will come every weekend.

"the 20th Shogi(Japanese chess) contest of high school in Yamagata Prefecture"

. At the individual contest,

Mr. Toshiyuki MANEYAMA

won who live in Tendo city.

He takes part in the National contest in August 8 and 9 in Tottori Prefecture.
