September 6 (Sun.) The youngest professional player (the highest 25.7C / the lowest 17.7C / weather - rain)

The youngest professional shogi (Japanese chess) player was born. She is Aya FUJITA, 11 years old. The record of the youngest professional player was 11 years and 10 month by Ms.Hiroe NAKAI with 5 dan grade. But Aya FUJITA became 11 years and 6 month.
It was the first time for her to play shogi at 7 years old and stared to learn at 9 years old. She enterd the "Ikuseikai" (the gate to success) last April. She became a professional shogi player by 1 yaer and a half.

September 5 (Sat.) Ruins in Tendo (the highest 27.5C / the lowest 17.1C / weather - cloudy)

They had a meeting of explanation about the ruins "Kurazou Oshikiri" at the "Sougou Fukushi Center" (Welfare center in Tendo). At the ruins, they found pillars about 1 meter across. And they calculated that this was 12 meters and 20 meters squared building. One staff said that they had very high technique to built and they were must "Naryu no Shou" who was related to the Fujiwara family.

September 4 (Fri.) Won Mr.Habu (the highest 26.4C / the lowest 17.9C / weather - cloudy)

From September 3 to 4, Mr.Yoshiharu HABU with the professional shogi (Japanese chess) title "OUI" played with Mr.Yasumitsu SATO with the title "Meijin".
Mr.HABU won this 4th period and defeated him as 4 win and 2 lose. Mr.HABU got the title "OUI" 6 times consective.

September 3 (Thu.) To the Olympic Games (the highest 27.8C / the lowest 19.4C / weather - rain)

Fumitoshi SAJIMA came to the Tendo City Office to report his activity.
He took part in the Junior Olympic Games in Japan as one of the member of the team, water polo. They had the game at Omiya City, Saitama Prefecture. Yamagata Swimming Club played the finals with the Kyoto City team and Yamagata won by only 1 point. Mr. Ryouichi TAKEDA, who is a director of the Board of Education in Tendo City, cheered up him for the Olympic Games.

September 2 (Wed.) Sprorts festival for the Handicapped (the highest 28.6C / the lowest 19.3C / weather - cloudy)

They have the 18th Sports Festival for the handicapped at the general sports park in Tendo City. Many handicapped persons in Yamagata Prefecture take part in this festival. They started from 1982 as the International handicapped year. This time over 900 people joined this festival.

September 1 (Tue.) Cranial nerves surgery (the highest 26.6C / the lowest 20.1C / weather - cloudy)

From October 1, they have a new department of the cranial nerves surgery at the Tendo Hospital (municipal hospial in Tendo City). They decided the Tendo hospital emergency hospital from this Janyary. After that many patients came who was suffering cranial nerves. There is no hospital about cranial nerves in Tendo City. So it is very helpful.
