Dec. 26 (Sat.) Cheer up shopping arcades (the highest 7.9C /the lowest 0.9C /weather - cloudy)

Tendo city office, they planed for activating shopping arcades. In this plan they programmed to provide a network system and to run traveling buses. These days many big shops are open along the route 13 and it makes old shopping arcades downhill.

Dec. 25 (Fri.) (the highest 8.2C /the lowest 0.4C /weather - fine)

Dec. 24 (Thu.) Christmas Charity Concert (the highest 4.3C /the lowest 1.0C /weather - snow)

The brass of Yamagata Orchestra had a christmas concert at the crossroad near the Tendo Station. They performed each part clothed in Santa Claus, and some high school students beged people to raise money.

The brass they are famous in Yamagata prefecture, many people raised money. Totally it is over 270,000 yen.

Dec. 23 (Wed.) Pot food "Jyosanebe" (the highest 8.3C /the lowest 0.8C /weather - cloudy)

A Chamber of Commerce in Nagai City, they made a new pot food "Jyosanebe" for our event "Heisei Nabe Gassen". The word of "Jyosane" is dialect in Yamagata meant easy to do.

They cook chiken, kombu, Katsuobushi (dried bonito), Japanese tofu and many variety of organic vegetables in it.

Dec. 22 (Tue.) (the highest 8.9C /the lowest 0.2C /weather - rain)

Dec. 21 (Mon.) Reconstruct of Palte (the highest 4.6C /the lowest -0.5C /weather - snow)

The mayor of Tendo city, he announced a plan about the "Palte", building next to the Tendo Station. He has already announced to BUY it and this time he wants to MAKE a gallery, hall, infomation center for tourists, etc. in it.

We have already had the infomation center in the Tendo Station, the shogi (Japanese chess) museum on the 1st floor and a gift shop on the 2nd floor. If the infomation center move to the "Palte", they may use both floor for the shogi museum. It sounds like good.
