June 7 (Sun.) Effect of motorboat race

Murayama city ,north of Tendo city, have a problem about motorboat race.

They have a plan to construct the stadium.

It takes about 30 minuites from Tendo city to Murayama city.

So many people are worried about the

effect to children

A few years past, we had same problem in Tendo city.

But we were

object to construct

June 5 (Fri.) Advanced Yamagata Shinkansen
(the highest temperature C / the lowest temperature C / weather - )

The railway company "JR East", they announce that the restart of Yamagata Shinkansen (one of Bullet express) is advanced.

Now the Yamagata Shinkansen is from Yamagata to Tokyo.

And they have a plan to advance

from Yamagata to Shinjou

, which is in the north of Yamagata Prefecture.

At first, they announced that the restart was the spring of the year after next.

But they will speed up the construction and decide to restart in

December next year

June 2 (Tue.) Street performer Gen GORO

The street performer Gen GORO, he is from Tendo city.

In May 31, he have a performance in Tokyo.

He perform not only in Japan but also many other countries.

And this year, he will

go to Mongolian People's Republic

for the 2nd performance.

June 1 (Mon.) The Town of SOBA
(the highest temparature 28.1C / the lowest temparature 9.5C / weather - fine)

Today they have a opening ceremony of fruits fields for tourists.

And the restaurants of Japanese

SOBA

(Japanese noodle) in Tendo city, they have also a speciial event.

The catch copy is "Syougun-ke Kenjou SOBA no Sato, Tendo".

In Edo era (17C and 18C), Tendo presents original SOBA to the Shogun in Edo.

This is

very unique in Japanese history

And now, they have a campaing based on that history.
