October 13 (Tue.) Retire of honorary player (the highest 20.5C /the lowest 11.1C / weather - cloudy)

One of professional Shogi (Japanese chess) players Mr.Hideyuki FUJISAWA with the title "Honorary KISEI" will retire.

Mr.Hideyuki FUJISAWA was born at Yokohawa in 1925. He get the grade 1st DAN in 1940, 4th DAN in 1946, 8th DAN in 1959 and 9th DAN in 1963. He got the title 1st KISEI against Mr.Utarou HASHIMOTO in 1977. He got it every 6 years so got "Honorary KISEI".

He totally had got 23 titles, "KISEI" 6 times, "Tengen" a time, old "MEIJIN" 2 times, etc (828 won and 635 lose).

October 12 (Mon.) Present "Space Japanese killifish" (the highest 20.6C /the lowest 7.7C / weather - cloudy)

Mr.Masanori SATOH presented 4th generation of "Space Japanese killifish" (Medaka) to the Hoshinuno elementary school. "Space Japanese killifish" got on the Space Shuttle in USA.

He breeds the Japanese killifish by himself because there are no Japanese killifish for 10 years so many children dosen't know them.
The explanation of "Space Japanese killifish"

Mr.IJIIRI who is one of professors in Tokyo University planned the study of "Space Japanesse killifish". After that he gave "Space Japanese killifish" for study. Mr.SATOH requested him and received 7 fish of 3rd generation of "Space Japanese killifish".

4th generation of "Space Japanese killifish" are named "Tendo-kun" by Ms.Chiaki MUKAI who is one of astronauts in Japan. It means children born in the space. Japanese Kanji character "Ten" means "Space" and "DOU" means children.
