October 31 (Sat.) Many people fly to Hakodate (the highest 21.5C /the lowest 12.8C / weather - cloudy)

The company "NAL" (Nakanihon Air Line), they finished to fly the plane from Yamagata Airport to Hakodate Airport in Hokkaido. The rate of boarding may be over 60% this season. They fly only summer and autumn.

The plane on which 56 people can ride flys on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Next year they will fly the plane as same time as this year.

October 30 (Fri.) Wider Yamagata Highway (the highest 20.0C /the lowest 8.5C / weather - cloudy)

They decided to built more 2 lane at the Yamagata Highway.

Yamagata Highway is already 4 lane from Murata Junction of Tohoku highway to Sasaya Interchange, from Sekizawa Interchange to Yamagata-Zao Interchange still now. But the Sasaya Tunnel between Sasaya Interchange with Sekizawa Interchange is only 2 lane. Many people want another "Sasaya Tunnel" for a long time.

They will start to built on November 7 and will finish in 5 or 6 years.

October 28 (Wed.) Seminor for women (the highest 19.8C /the lowest 9.0C / weather - fine)

They start the seminor for women at the central public hall.

Last year the prefectural goverment had a seminar. Many women want more chance to discuss. So the city office made a chance this year. First time Ms.Michiko MATSUMURA gave a speech.

October 26 (Mon.) Memorial postcard (the highest 17.7C /the lowest 7.2C / weather - fine)

At the city office, they will sell the memorial postcard as the 40th anniversary of Tendo City.

The city office, The tourism promotion association and the post office in Tendo had many meeting. And they decided 5 pictures for postcards, Ningen Shogi (Human Japanese chess game), Gun Yakusho Siryoukan (Old county museum), Kakuchi Gakusha (Old school in 17C), Tendo Onsen (Spa), Cherry and La France (one of pairs).

They sell 250 yen per 5 cards, only 10,000 sets.
