"Daihachi-Nabe" by YEG (Young Enterpreneurs Group) in Tendo
This pot food was named after "Daihachi YOSHIDA" who was the most famous samurai in Tendo. They simmer it with meatballs of wild duck, Udon (Japanese nudle). They prepared local Japanese sake "Daihachi Nabe Ginzyou" which they make for this festival. |

"Imoni" by YEG in Yamagata
This is the pot food which we can find out everywhere river side in Autumn. It is very famous food in Yamagata Prefecture. |

"Yonezawa Gyu Torobeko Jiru" by YEG in Yonezawa
They stew large beef, Taro, Japanese Konnyaku, Daikon Oroshi (rubbed Japanese radish), kombu, dried bonito. It is salty soup with starch. They got the title "Nabe no Tsubone", the most popular pot food this year. |

"Shonai Dongara Jiru" by YEG in Sakata
They stew "Kandara" (cod in winter) with one of Japanese seasoning "Miso" (soybean paste). "Kandara" lives in very cold sea in winter. So it is very firm and fat, very good taste. |

"Jyosanebe" by YEG in Nagai
They stew one bland of chiken "Datedori" or duk with soup made from kombu and dried bonito. It includes chinese cabbage,burdock, leek, Japanese "Shirataki", Japanese "Shimidouhu" (dried Tohu) and beansprout. The name "Jyosanebe" is named after a dialect "Jyosane". "Jyosane" means easy to do. |
