Aug.29 (Sun.) A wood owner system starts (the highest 29.2C /the lowest 20.4C /weather - cloudy)

At the Tendo highland lodge, they held a lottery meeting of "the wood owner system of Tendo highland". This time they chose 30 owners. They can use each division from late September. "The wood of Tendo highland" for them, there is an area of 3 hectare(=300ares), and it is divided by each of the division of 1,000 square meter. A use charge is 18,000 yen per 1 year, in the total amount 180,000 yen. An owner can grow a mushroom and so on freely, except for woods rearing. As for shopping of 180,000 yen, it is cheep, isn't it ?

Aug.28 (Sat.) Pariking expands at the station (the highest 23.3C /the lowest 20.6C /weather - rain)

The Yamagata Shinkansen(bullet express) will reach to Shinjou City, and it will stop at the Tendo station as well this December. At each station north of Yamagata, they introduce the system "Park & Ride". This system means to use both train and car. At first you drive a car to the station and park at the free parking lot. Next, we get on a train(Yamagata Shinkansen) to the destination, for example Tokyo. And you return by car from the station. They will prepare free parking lots for 600 cars in total at the east side and the west side at the Tendo station. Then, first of all, parking lots for 467 in total will be open on October 1.

A parking charge is very low. The passanger of Shinkansen can park free how many days they parked. And others can park free until 1 hour. Therefore, there is a expectation that the passanger who have gotten on at the Yamagata station will get on at the Tendo station because a parking lot is free. If there are many users of parking lot, they will expand a parking lot.

Aug.27 (Fri.) Present mayor doesn't merge ? (the highest 22.6C /the lowest 19.2C /weather - rain)

There is a plan of a wide area merger by 3 cities 2 towns, including Tendo City, in Yamagata Prefecture inside. The mayor of Tendo has expressed since former times that he doesn't intend to combine right now. Then, he expressed in the general question of the municipal assembly once again that it isn't time now to discuss a merger. Local enterprises in Tendo say that it is no good to be taken over by Yamagata City. As for this, I have a same opinion, too. I dislike to dessapear the name "Tendo" absolutely, and I can't imagine an area name "Tendo Ward, Yamagata City".

From now, I think that it is the age when we must extend originality and a feature in each area. if they merge each other to be a big sef-governing body at such time, I think that the various gaps between the central part and surrounding will be bigger than now and the unique character of "Tendo" is buried conversely.

Even if they don't combine specially, I suppose they can provide a wide area administrative services by the cooperation of municipal offices each other. I can't understand why Yamagata City always appeals for the joint promotion. I sometimes hear that there is a deficit about 500,000 yen or 600,000 yen per 1 citizen in Yamagata City. And it is said that they aspire to combine with Tendo City because they want to dissolve this...

Aug.26 (Thu.) Next June Kuwanomachi opening (the highest 28.1C /the lowest 19.3C /weather - coudy)

The Kuwanomachi area is spread out in the south side of Tendo Onsen(hot spring). And, they have been developing there as a new tourist position of Tendo City. The mayor of Tendo City announced that each 2 facilities where construction is planned in that Kuwanomachi area will open next June. One of the local enterprise "Yamako" build a products palace and restaurant. And, "Tohoku pionner" build a music box palace.

At first, a construction intended to begin in August. But, beause a design was delayed, they start to construct this November. And, as for the products palace, they say that 6 shops are hoping for opening a store, a souvenir shop, a fast food store, etc.

Aug.25 (Wed.) Reopened Palte (the highest 30.6C /the lowest 21.3C /weather - cloudy)

Tendo station building "Palte" reopened. "Palte" opened as shopping and cultural activity center in 1992. However, one of the local supermarket "Yamazawa" using the 1st floor and the 2nd floor withdrew in 1997. After that, only a citizen plaza (cultural school) on the 3rd floor and a sport gum are open. The shutter were always closed on the 1st floor and the 2nd floor, "Palte" became very lonely.

The Yamagata Shinkansen "Tsubasa" will reach to Tendo station this December. It is very shamful and lonely if the building in front of the station was closed. So, Tendo City bought a part of the 1st floor and 2nd floor from the "Yamazawa".

The inside park for the child, stores, a citizen gallery, and so on are opened in the "Palte". From now on, tourist products society(tourist information and souvenir shop) on the 2nd floor of the Tendo station will move. A official opening ceremony will be held on October 1, the 41st anniversary commemoration of the administrative enforcement.

Aug.24 (Tue.) Fund help for development of Kuwanomachi (the highest 28.1C /the lowest 23.4C /weather - rain)

Tendo City submitted a promotion plan of tourist facilites at the Kuwanomachi to the regular meeting in September of the municipal assembly. Kuwanomachi is an area to spread out in the south side of Tendo Onsen(hot spring) and proceeded a development as a new tourist position of Tendo City. The plan includes that Tendo City will issue the money equivalent to the fixed assets tax for 3 years as a bounty to promote development of tourist facilites.

Thay say that they proposed it as one of support plan of the Tendo hot spring and local shopping street. Therefore, they keep in their mind the facilities as a delivery object of the bounty which it has many people gathered in such as a hotel and a Japanese Ryokan(inn).

One of the local enterprise "Yamako" has already been decided to built a restaurant and souvenir shop, "Tohoku Pioneer" will build a music box museum. A depression still continues to the whole country in Japan, I think it is very difficult for the most enterprise to begin a new business. However, it is good that many facilities will be built and many sightseers visit to Tendo when the regulation plan is adopted.

Aug.23 (Mon.) Care insurance due is 2,400 yen (the highest 31.9C /the lowest 24.3C /weather - fine)

In Japan, the care insurance system will start from next April. Tendo City introduced the due of care insurance to the public for the first time. Though it is a trial calculation, the insurance due for over 64 years old seems to be about 2,400yen per a month. Tendo City will adopt the 5 step form as method to calculate. Because insurance due changes corresponding to the income, it is said that the highest due is about 3,600yen and the lowest due is about 1,200yen. Though insurance due varies in each autonomies, I think the due of Tendo City is close to the national avarage.
