It is national holiday today, "Seijin no Hi"(Coming of Age Day) in Japan. And we have a big event "Heisei Nabe Gassen" in Tendo. At this event we can eat many variety of pot food of in Yamagata area, Tohoku area and other countries. It is fine today, so many visitor come at the event. Check it !!

Jan 13 (Wed.) Recovery of Jyakushouji Temple (the highest 3.0C /the lowest -2.8C /weather - snow)

There is the temple "Jyakushouji", 10 minuites from central Tendo by car. And there is the temple "Yamadera" which is famous for Mr.Basho MATUSUO. He was a very famous poet in Japan. Many tourists visits at the temple "Yamadera" but there is only a few tourists at the temple "Jyakushouji". Around Tendo city they construct a new highway and a bulet train just now. More tourists will come in the near future, we think. The area near the temple "Jyakushouji" makes a plan to built a cultural village to recover it.

Jan 12 (Thu.) Get the prize Ms.Okuyama (the highest 3.6C /the lowest -2.6C /weather - snow)

Ms.Kyoko OKUYAMA get the prize from the party of business in Yamagata pref. She lives in Tendo and she was a medalist in Nagano Paralympics. They give that prize every year for the people who moved meny people in Yamagata. She said that she knew having own's goal made her more powerfull. I think so , too. Don't you think it is important that spending everyday kept own's goal ? Don't you think it is unusefull that spending draggy time each day ?

Jan 11 (Mon.) Decision of a airplane to Tokyo (the highest 0.3C /the lowest -3.5C /weather - fine)

The governor in Yamagata Prefecture, he announced that we will get a reply about a airplane to Tokyo by the end of this month. The company ANA fly a airplane bound for Tokyo. The company is in deficit now, they said to stop the airplane to Tokyo. They propose to decrease the landing fee, from 620,000,000yen to 41,300,000yen in a year.
