Mar. 30 (Tue.) Cherry blossoms in Ningen Shogi (the highest 6.3C /the lowest -1.5C /weather - fine)

Sendai district weather station, they say that flower of cherry may bloom on April 13(Tue.) in Yamagata City. Flowering cherry blossom in Tendo city usually delay for about 2 days because Tendo City is located in a little north from Yamagata City. Though flowering in Tendo may be on April 15(Thu.). But the cherry blossoms by the side of the road begins to bloom earlier because of the reflection of the road surface.

One of the beauty spot of the cherry blossoms in Tendo is Mt.Maizuru where we hold the event "Ningen Shogi"(Human Japanese Chess Game). Cherry blossoms begin to bloom more slowly than level ground because there is height above sea level about 200m. It takes about 1 week around Tendo until cherry blossoms are in full bloom. If flowering of the cherry blossoms in Tendo is on April 15(Thu.), the best may be about on April 25(Sun.) when the event "Ningen Shogi" is held.
